My first real writing gig was back in the days of Xanga. A classmate on my high school newspaper's editorial board saw my blog and offered me a features column. I've been writing ever since. 

 

My background is in Creative Writing specifically Poetry. I received my MFA is from Sarah Lawrence College and my BA from Rutgers College, Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.

 

I've been a Freelance Writer and Editor for 10 years, a Marketing Manager for 4 years, and an ocassional video game playtester for 2 years.  My specialties are creative writing, poetry, blogging, content creation, a little bit of SEO/B2B/ B2C writing, print and digital marketing, microcopy, video game playtesting, and book/graphic novel marketing.

I currently work as a Marketing Manager specializing in the book and library markets for a small comic book publisher and am located in NYC.
